Today, the Diana Award are calling on young people, schools and wider to get involved in Kindness Day 2017!

The Diana Award was set up in order to remember the legacy of Princess Diana, believing that young people have the power to change the world This National Kindness Day, they are encouraging people to be kind!

Be kind online:

For Safer Internet Day 2017 we looked at the role of images in the digital lives of young people around the UK. Our research showed how young people had used images to be kind and positive online. Here are some of the examples that we found:

How you can be kind online:

  • Send a positive message to a friend
  • Post a picture to make someone smile
  • Report when you see something negative or someone being mean online
